Bulgaria is included in a list for the general supply of coronavirus vaccines. This was stated by the chairwoman of the parliamentary Committee on Healthcare and GERB MP Daniela Daritkova.

The vaccines will be targeted at people at risk – those over the age of 65, those with chronic illnesses and those who are at the forefront of the fight against the infection. They are total more than 2 million people.

More on the issue of supplies will be known in August. Our country may refuse to buy them if we have reasons to do so.

Daritkova commented that the parliamentary health commission has supported ratification, which guarantees that the opening of a vaccine for the coronavirus will give Bulgarian citizens access to it.

According to the Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov, vaccination will not be mandatory. However, anyone who has the desire will be able to take advantage of the service.
