There is no problem with the first batch of vaccines against COVID-19 in our country being transported by food vans. This was commented by the Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kostadin Angelov for „bTV“. According to him, the upcoming deliveries will be realized via refrigerated trucks of the manufacturer “Pfizer” and the quantities will go directly to the special freezers of the responsible health inspections in our country.

The Minister of Health attacked users on social networks, who made ironic comments about the images of sausages with which the engaged trucks were branded. According to him, these jokes „discourage and touch the fears of Bulgarian citizens.“ According to him, the thermograph showed that there were no violations of the temperature regime, and in addition, the boxes of vaccines had dry ice to support them.

Private companies are also helping other governments, said Minister Angelov, adding that the upcoming major delivery, which will take place in early 2021, will be made via refrigerated trucks of the manufacturer “Pfizer”. It is then planned to include “Moderna” and its product. Prof. Angelov added:

„I expect by the end of the year to complete the vaccination campaign and cover 70% of Bulgarian society.“

Yesterday, the Minister of Health became the first Bulgarian to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Bulgaria. He commented that he was feeling well, monitoring his temperature, but did not meet any of the expected reactions.

We remind you that the immunization campaign against COVID-19 started in Bulgaria yesterday, and the vaccines were transported to the responsible health inspections by vans of a well-known brand of sausages. This caused a wave of comments on the social network, and some more creative users created mocking collages. They commented that once again the government has become a laughing stock.
