I am sincerely amused by the powerless malice caused by the fact that only Kiril Petkov as a Bulgarian politician was invited by the organizing committee of the US Congress to the inauguration ceremony of the new president. This is what the analyst Ilian Vassilev wrote in his commentary on the social network Facebook. He commented on GERB’s claims in this direction. And they are as follows:
“From GERB we hear comical complaints that „any Bulgarian citizen“ could receive such an invitation. One has to wonder why we have not moved there en masse! Ah, I remembered – we miss those „thin“ invitations with the state coat of arms of the USA, which carry not only symbolism but also weight.
Then another theory emerged – that Kirill Petkov was not at the event in the Capitol, but at an event in the reserve hall with a capacity of 8,000 people and there they were watching on a big screen. Who to read that the ceremony was moved indoors at the last minute due to the cold and logically in smaller rooms not all provided the official outdoor boxes had room.
There were about 600 people in attendance at the Capitol – Senators, Congressmen (but not all), Governors and other members of the American elite. I saw Meloni and Millay, but they are the official leaders of their parties. Ours are not invited, and that’s not the biggest tragedy, but the way they are experiencing it and looking to get out is pathetic.
And Petkov, although he is only one of the leaders of the opposition, is invited. Swallow it and move on.
Now consider when America invites the world to this ceremony how many guests can there be and at the highest level – you have nearly 200 countries, plus you have 51 states, plus you have an administration. Not even all the foreign dignitaries were in the Capitol. Did you watch? I mean, there is no humiliating circumstance of the invitation to Kirill Petkov.
Meanwhile, Kostadin Kostadinov (Kopeikin) proudly announced that he too had received an „invitation“ on Saturday. Who is to tell him that there is a state protocol in this business and no one can afford to send an invitation a day before an event. No one. But he can’t even read, his invitation is one of those parallel events that are set up with tickets you buy, for the public areas, but there’s nothing official – you’re just a tourist.
Look on whose behalf the „invitation“ was sent to Kostadinov. Such invitations are common for people from all over America who want to attend events outside the official ceremony. The difference is obvious, but apparently difficult for some to understand.
Finally, the thunderer Peevski descended from the „vault of heaven“ to translate to the „raja“, in advance, Trump’s speech in America with his message „to the city and the people“ and warned his people that big changes are coming and he will be in charge, so they have agreed with Trump. He will shake America, Peevsky-Bulgaria.
Peevski’s media also selflessly threw themselves into the fray with a photo of Kirill Petkov from the eight-thousand-seat hall, the one where guests were urgently moved because of the cold weather.
But NONE of these politicians, who had no time or did not accept the invitation, explained why there was no official invitation.
No one could come up with a better dramatization of an important day for the world, where while drawing their conclusions, some native politicians made a parade of their own vanity and inferiority complexes. In a typical Baiganian style.
There is no point arguing with such people. As a piece of wisdom says: „Do not argue with a fool, because you risk becoming two.”
