Protesters from the Civic Platform “Stand Up.BG” by Maya Manolova and the mothers from the “System Kills Us” entered the building of the National Assembly. They were admitted to the parliament’s office, it is clear from a video of Nikola Vaptsarov from “Stand Up.BG” on the social network Facebook.

Dissatisfied citizens are adamant that they will not leave until they meet with all MPs. They bring them a special declaration, which they demand to be signed by each of them. With it, the MPs practically join the demands of the protesters for the dissolution of the parliament, the resignation of the Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev, early elections and non-acceptance of GERB’s draft for a new Constitution.

The protesters have already met with Bulgarian Socialists Party representatives, who have said they will discuss the issue at a meeting of their parliamentary group.

Such a declaration was also submitted to the Council of Ministers. With it, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov declared that he would resign. The protesters also approached President Rumen Radev, the ombudsman and the European Commission about their demands.

“Stand Up.BG” and “The System Kills Us” are adamant that they will leave if Borissov resigns or all deputies sign their declaration.
