„I am worried by the fact that we are very quickly returning to the „thug times,“, Kiril Petkov, co-chairman of the parliamentary group of „We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria“, told journalists. He pointed out:

„We already have factual written reports that the Prosecutor General personally threatened the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior. This does not sound like a European state.“

„Some kind of clock is being waved to cover something much scarier – the Prosecutor’s Office is again being used as a cudgel,“, Petkov said in response to a question whether they continue to support Zhivko Kotsev, despite the revelations of the past few days and the leaked photos.

We remind you that today the new caretaker government with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev took the oath of office in the National Assembly. The item was the only one on Parliament’s agenda, after which the session was closed.

Prior to the swearing-in session of the caretaker government, a change was made in the composition of the caretaker government. The presidency issued decrees appointing a caretaker government and scheduling two-in-one elections – for the National Assembly and the European Parliament on June 9, it became clear.

Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev also replaced the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
