„Democratic Bulgaria“ has already announced that it will start negotiations for a joint participation in the elections with „We Continue the Change“. This becomes possible after the National Council of „Yes Bulgaria“ gave a mandate to the leadership to hold talks for a pre-election or post-election coalition.

Hristo Simeonov’s ProDemocracy for Change MPs said that their National Council had taken a unanimous decision to give a mandate to Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev to negotiate a joint list to stand in the upcoming early parliamentary elections together with Democratic Bulgaria.

He stresses that it is time to unite the efforts of all political forces, but also of NGOs. The aim is to fight the corruption model in Bulgaria. „We Continue the Change“ is ready to make efforts to remove the status quo and start on the path of a prosperous country.

The MP also points out that everyone expects to be represented by experts. Therefore, suitable people will be appointed for this anti-corruption alliance to take Bulgaria to a higher level.

Simeonov also commented on the parliament’s decision to make education free for all children from 2024-2025. He explains that this way equal access to education is given to students regardless of their social status.

First of all, these children should have textbooks. Moreover, each of them costs 15 leva and when 10 have to be purchased, the amount becomes 150 leva. Walk to parents for preparation of one student so it can reach give up to 500-600 leva.
