The United States is the world’s largest military aggressor. This is the definite conclusion of one of the few researchers who have dealt with this topic over the years. His name is Dr. Zoltan Grossman and he is a professor of geography at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.

He conducted many years of research on the archives, as a result of which he compiled the most complete list of US wars and military interventions in the world for the period 1890-2014. His work shows that the United States can be listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most aggressive country, despite all the claims in the opposite direction – for peace, democracy, protection of human rights and values of the modern world.

The US wars

The wars in the United States are extremely numerous, and in this article we will focus only on the largest of them, which have the most destruction and the largest number of casualties. These are in Korea in 1950, Guatemala in 1954, Indonesia in 1958, Cuba in 1959, Congo in 1965, Vietnam in 1961, Guatemala in 1967, Cambodia in 1969, Cambodia in 1969, Iran in 1980, Nicaragua in 1981, Libya in 1986, Panama in 1989, Iraq in 1991, Bosnia in 1995, Sudan in 1998, Serbia in 1999, Afghanistan in 2001, Iraq in 2003, Haiti in 2004, Libya in 2011 and Syria in 2014. During this period, the United States conducted dozens of smaller military operations, during which there were also a number of destructions and casualties.

The war in Afghanistan is arguably one of the bloodiest and most serious of the American wars since 2000. It lasts for 10 years – until 2021, when the US military withdraws from the troubled state. The official pretext for military action is the fight against the Taliban. In general, Washington uses democracy as the main argument for invading and destroying foreign countries, but a number of researchers are adamant that the real reasons are quite different.

The most memorable moment of the war in Afghanistan is undoubtedly the assassination of Osama bin Laden on May 2, 2011. During the war in Afghanistan, the country was virtually destroyed, and the victims were numerous, and not just the local population. According to official data, as of 2013, 2,289 US soldiers had died there. Thousands are injured.

The war in Iraq is also extremely bloody and dramatic for the locals. It officially began on March 20, 2003, when American and British forces attacked the country by air, land and sea. The official reason they are circulating is that weapons of mass destruction are being prepared in Iraq.

The actions of the United States and Britain have been supported by Australia, Denmark, Poland and Spain, and strongly criticized by many other countries around the world because they are not backed by the UN Security Council. There are currently no official figures on how many people died in the Iraq war, but the estimated death toll in the period 2003-2009 was as many as 650,000. Between 2005 and 2011 alone, 51,000 civilians lost their lives. The scale of the destruction is indescribable. A huge wave of migrants has also been triggered, and to this day Iraqis continue to come to Europe in search of salvation and a normal life, far from the ruins of their home country.

The situation is even worse during the war in Syria. It erupted in 2011 and continues to this day. The United States began its military intervention on September 23, 2014. The first air strikes were against the capital Raqqa. The war in Syria is causing a huge wave of refugees, especially to Turkey and the countries of the European Union, including Bulgaria. According to the UN, as many as 5,088,078 have left their homeland by 2015 alone. According to official data, at least 350,209 people died by 2021. These are only the identified victims.

All of these appalling facts and figures describe very little of US military action in recent decades. Here it is important to note that there is much evidence that during their so-called. operations abused the local population. A typical example in this regard is what happened in Vietnam. Hundreds of women and children were killed there in a village called Mi Lai, and it is still a symbol of the atrocities of American soldiers in this war. Of course, the United States is trying to cover up the truth and presents what happened as a victory over the Communists in Vietnam, but the truth is quite different.

US propaganda

And here comes the very important question of powerful US propaganda around the world. Under the crown of the struggle for democracy, freedom of thought and expression, freedom in the full sense of the word, the fight against terrorists, aggressors and dictators, the enforcement of human rights and peace, America is committing so many atrocities and even war crimes can be described.

Despite all this and the facts in this direction, despite the footage we have all witnessed of murdered people – women, children, the elderly, young men, Washington continues to try to impose its thesis.

And how does this happen? Through powerful propaganda, for the purposes of which hundreds of media around the world have been used. The so-called the fourth power is strongly influenced by the United States. The process is very simple. The owners of the major media in developed countries are connected to America in one way or another and therefore unilaterally reflect their point of view. The independence of the media is out of the question. Bulgaria is no exception.

Thus, the „truths of Washington“ have been imposed on the people of the world, who are gradually beginning to believe what they hear and are being offered, and so they accept America’s point of view, and it continues to wage its wars completely undisturbed. Even under the sign of heroism.

And here we can give a very current example. Russia starts a war in Ukraine. And many countries around the world are reacting sharply and starting to impose severe sanctions not only on the state as a whole, but also on individuals, including Vladimir Putin. The sanctions also cover the Russian media on the pretext that they are spreading false and misleading information about Moscow’s military actions. Few people think that it is possible for the Russian media to share accurate information, and because the United States does not like it, because it confuses its self-interest plans, it is therefore necessary to censor Russian publications.

Bulgaria is also part of the countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia. Here the important question arises – why then, with so many „military interventions“ of America, it has never been subject to „punishment“ by other countries in any way. The United States skillfully uses the methods of demonization to achieve its goals, which are certainly not the imposition of peace and democracy around the world, but only the service of its interests.

China: The United States is the real threat to the world

Three days after the start of the war in Ukraine on February 24, China has stated emphatically that it is not Russia but the United States that is the real threat to the world. Evidence of Washington’s aggression in recent decades has been published as evidence. The first „democratic world tour“ of the United States around the world was shown by Foreign Ministry spokesman Lijian Zhao. These are the cases in which America bombed or invaded other countries after the end of World War II. All this shows that according to the Chinese, these nations represent about a third of the world’s population. Zhao wrote:

“Never forget who the real threat to the world is.”

It was also stated that about 81% of the wars between 1945 and 2001 were started not by anyone but by the United States. America has been accused of trying to intervene in the conflict in Ukraine.

What other damage has Washington done to the world?

The United States has inflicted many other damages on the world, which are not expressed in military action. It has been proven that Washington has eavesdropped and monitored even its European Union partners at the highest level.

In addition, several years ago, information was leaked about how the US National Security Agency (NSA) secretly installed eavesdropping devices in routers manufactured in the United States. Most of them were intended for export. The information was then leaked by Glenn Greenwald, who was the first to publish Edward Snowden’s denunciations of global surveillance.

Again, in 2020, the Chinese declared the United States the world’s largest spy and hacker empire. Diplomats commented at the time:

“The facts have once again proved that the United States is the largest spy state in international cyberspace and, in the full sense of the word, an empire of hackers. Their wiretaps have already reached the level of real atrocities, lawlessness and it is infinite.”

According to their data, 5 billion telephone conversations were intercepted worldwide every day. Even Angela Merkel, still Germany’s chancellor at the time, was wiretapped.

All this comes to prove that the damage done by the United States is enormous, and not just to the countries in which it conducts military operations. Literally everyone in the world is affected by their actions. Thus, Washington is becoming the largest tumor that still cannot be removed. Its venom has affected hundreds of countries that cannot be snatched from the grip of the „older brother“, and he is trying to „suffocate“ the smaller nations and impose world domination in one way or another.

Years ago, a quote from an unknown author appeared, which briefly and extremely accurately described what the harmful state of the United States was:

“The world would be a much better place to live if the United States did not exist or be razed to the ground.
