The quarantine of some of the people who have arrived in Bulgaria from the EU, Serbia and North Macedonia is repealed

The directors of the regional health inspections shall repeal by order the issued requirements for quarantine of persons who have entered the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria from 20.05.2020 to 31.05.2020 inclusive, from Member States of the European Union, Serbia and North Macedonia. This applies to citizens for whom the reason for quarantine is not contact with a person with COVID-19.

All persons who during the period from 20.05.2020 to 31.05.2020 have entered the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria from the Kingdom of Sweden, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Ireland, the Republic of Portugal, the Kingdom of Spain , the Republic of Malta and Italy shall remain under quarantine.

All persons entering Bulgaria from these countries, as well as from all third countries, with the exception of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, shall be quarantined for a period of 14 days at home or other accommodation where the person is indicated that they would reside, with a prescription issued by the director of the relevant regional health inspectorate or an official authorized by him.

This is what the Minister of Health ordered with Order RD-01-288/01.06.2020 issued today.

Order № RD-01-288 / 01.06.2020 issued today repeals Order № RD-01-285/29.05.2020.
