The Russian vaccine for COVID-19, which is currently being developed, cannot be used in Europe. This was categorically announced by the Chief State Health Inspector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Angel Kunchev during his visit to Sliven. The reason is that it almost lacks the third phase of safety, which is a requirement in the countries of the European Union, including Bulgaria.

Kunchev also announced that a decision is expected at the end of the week on how the schools will operate if there is a teacher or student with a coronavirus.

One of the proposals stipulates that if there is a sick child in a class, the whole school should not be closed, but only this class should be placed under mandatory quarantine for a period of 14 days. From the words of Kunchev it became clear that during this time, it will move to distance learning in an electronic environment.

Thus, in practice, the same model will be applied as in kindergartens and nurseries. According to the chief state health inspector, this model is working.

Dr. Kunchev also announced that if a student with COVID-19 is found, the classes of his brothers and sisters will be quarantined.

Another novelty will be that children will not go from room to room. That is, the principle of cabinets in various subjects will be dropped. In addition, options for air purification by different means are being considered, as well as not using a break at the same time to separate the different classes.
