Five parties are likely to enter the next Parliament, according to a poll conducted between January 12th and 19th. Sociologist Evelina Slavkova commented to „NOVA“:

The results show the 5 + 2 formula, ie five political formations that will certainly enter the parliament, аnd two parties that are on the brink.”

Slavkova noted that the data is based on people who have indicated that they will certainly vote. According to her, about 50% of respondents said they would vote. The sociologist stressed that the percentage of declarative attitudes is always higher than what is realized on election day itself. She explained that in times of a pandemic, it is uncertain how many people will dare to vote.

The sociologist explained that with these close results, a coalition between the parties is expected again. She explained that they could be quite exotic. According to her, it is very difficult who will be elected by the people, because the electorate of certain parties react differently. She added:

All parties so far are against GERB. These were the attitudes even during the protests.“

According to the survey, the preferences of the population are – GERB, BSP, „There Are Such People“, MRF and „Democratic Bulgaria“. We remind you that over the past half a year there have been numerous protests demanding that the ruling party resign against the GERB party as well. The Bulgarians are indignant against their rulers at the moment, and again they are at the forefront. However, will they take action this time to change the situation in the country? We will find out in the spring.
