At 11:00 a.m. the national protest organized by “Vazrazhdane” political party started in front of the Council of Ministers. It is entitled „We want a normal life!“.

The political force explained that they were against the policy pursued by the ruling coalition. They stressed that Bulgarian citizens are impoverished. All food and goods are becoming more expensive, and the introduction of the „Green Certificate“ is effectively forcing people to get vaccinated.

„Anyone who is against this policy, who is against substitution, against illegal, discriminatory, anti-human, restrictive measures! Anyone who is tired of being made into a „guinea pig“ is welcome! Come with friends, come with motorcycles, come with cars, come with trucks, come with agricultural machinery! Come and stand by each other and show that our patience is running out! We want the immediate removal of the Green Certificate and all restrictive measures! We want a normal life!„, called a few days ago from the „Vazrazhdane“ party.

Hundreds of citizens gathered today at the protest. Shouting „Resign“ and „Mafia“ they are chanting under the windows of the government.

Meanwhile, it became clear that Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will meet the demonstrators who are in front of the Council of Ministers. Two days ago it was reported that the Green Certificate would be cancelled as of March 20, but according to “Vazrazhdane“ party this should happen within the next 7-10 days.

Petkov told reporters that now everyone will see a Prime Minister who is going on foot to meet the protesters. He was adamant that he was not afraid of discontent because he himself had taken part in many demonstrations.
