MPs from all parliamentary groups came out with harsh criticism against the caretaker cabinet, elected by Rumen Radev. They demanded the President to appear in the National Assembly, explaining the actions of the ministers he appointed.

BSP MP Ivan Chenchev defined the statement of Acting Prime Minister Galab Donev as „unprecedented insolence“. He pointed out:

„This is an insult to Parliament. All in all, maybe we are getting to the point where one person controls everyone in the country, but all of the appointees. Let’s put an end to all this, get serious and remove the appointees.“

The attacks against the caretaker cabinet did not stop after this statement. MP from the left Yavor Bozhankov complained that in the answer received from Caretaker Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov there were no names of companies and prices of contracts concluded by the department:

„The caretaker cabinet surpassed Borissov during his darkest years, I never believed I would say that.“

„Maybe the President needs to come and give an explanation for the behaviour of his ministers. Mr Radev, why are your ministers and your Prime Minister hiding from the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria? This is the question to you today,„, Assen Vassilev from “We Continue the Change” asked in his turn. GERB MP Toma Bikov called:

„So my call is for some ministers to eventually show up, but others, if they can, not to show up quite so much.“
