Associate Professor Atanas Mangarov announced that he will not be vaccinated. The head of the COVID ward of the Infectious Diseases Hospital explained that he had COVID-19 asymptomatically and already had antibodies.

The specialist supported the vaccination and commented that he would have been vaccinated if there were no antibodies. He found that there were some after being tested 2 weeks ago for his daily encounters with the virus. And explain:

„Given that I have antibodies, as well as the prime minister, who also contracted the disease, we do not need to be vaccinated. But if he and I hadn’t had the virus, I would have advised him to get vaccinated.”

Assoc. Prof. Mangarov noted that he did not feel unwell or any of the symptoms.

“I’ve had COVID asymptomatically and I’m in the 80% who make it this way. When someone has antibodies, that is, has encountered the virus, and tells you that they need to be vaccinated, then there are 2 options for that person. One is that he doesn’t understand anything about immunology or that he just manipulates you.”

The expert confirmed that he and the prime minister heard each other before the Christmas holidays, as well as today: “The meaning of our conversation was that immunity should be built in one of two ways. One is the wild, and the other is the civilized – to get through a vaccine. I have always supported vaccination.”

We remind you that this morning the Prime Minister Boyko Borissov assured that the associate professor will be vaccinated publicly in order to convince the citizens that he, who is a critic of the official line for counteracting the pandemic, also supports the vaccination. But now the question arises – do you really support it?
