The French authorities had kidnapped a Bulgarian boy, “Vazrazhdane” party claimed, adding that they were organizing a protest at 12:00 on Saturday in front of the French embassy in Bulgaria.
The press center of the political party claimed that on April 27, a 30-day-old Bulgarian citizen was kidnapped from the “Jean-Verdier” Hospital in the French suburb of Bondi, France. The baby was taken from the mother without medical or judicial grounds. The mother is Bulgarian, who has been living in France for 5 years, as she is being treated for an eye disease there. She was admitted to a French state hospital to give birth to her second child.
After the birth she was detained for 30 days in the hospital without any medical or judicial grounds. The mother tried to seek help from the embassy, but it was not provided. In an attempt to help her, her mother contacted Tsvetozara Tronville of the Foundation for Bulgarian Cultural Communities in the World. After the Bulgarian community became active and began to provide assistance to the victim – Zlatka Stoyanova, the hospital separated the baby from the mother, appointed her to see him twice a day, and a day later the hospital administration abducted him and told her that he was already accommodated in a nursing home.
On April 26, “Vazrazhdane” MP Angel Georgiev informed Minister Teodora Genchovska in a phone call about what was happening. The very next day she provided the assistance of the Bulgarian embassy. The hospital was visited by Consul – Milena Uzunova. Unfortunately, 2 hours before this visit, the baby was kidnapped and despite the intervention of our diploma, no assistance was received from the French authorities, according to “Vazrazhdane”.
At the moment, Stoyanova is accommodated in a Bulgarian family near the social institution and goes to the door of the building every day to ask the employees to see her child at the door of the social institution. That is why „Vazrazhdane“ has sent a letter to Minister Genchovska, urging him to summon the French ambassador to Bulgaria to get an explanation why, without documents and without grounds, a Bulgarian citizen was abducted by the French authorities for 30 days, separated from his mother, separated from his mother, deprived of her care and locked up in a social institution.
„We suspect that a healthy white child was born to a single mother, according to the French authorities, and they are taking advantage of this to give him up for adoption. The disintegration of the state is already physically visible, after third-rate foreign officials behave like masters and refuse to cooperate with our diplomatic representatives.“, the party stated.
As a result, “Vazrazhdane” organized a protest on April 30, at 12:00, in front of the French Embassy in Bulgaria. We call on all Bulgarian citizens to come and protect one of us. The Embassy is located at: 27-29 Oborishte Str., Sofia.
