Rumen Radev and I are part of the Bulgarian team, but my expectations are that he will be critical. This is what Prime Minister Kiril Petkov commented after the oath-taking by the President today.
Petkov also told „bTV“ that he hoped the Head of State would be particularly attentive to the work of the executive – „as we are to him, so he is to us“.
Petkov is optimistic that there will be interconnection „to the outside world as well“, i.e. the dialogue will take place in the same language.
GERB’s departure from the hall during the Prime Minister’s speech was described by him as „lack of parliamentary culture„.
Kiril Petkov emphasized one of the main priorities of the ruling quadruple coalition, namely a state based on institutions. For this reason, one of the main topics in the coming months will be the Constitution „in the part for the Prosecutor General.“, the Prime Minister specified.
He described his visit to the Republic of North Macedonia (RNM) as successful. A fact that has become a reality, thanks to the hand we lent, and the note given by them, „which we had hoped to receive for two years.“ It states that „the RNM has no claims to the territorial integrity of Bulgaria.„, Petkov stressed.
From his speech it became clear that the two countries have united for the implementation of transport, connection from Sofia to Skopje for 2 months. An idea that will be realized in an absolutely transparent way.
