The Anti-Corruption Fund presents a new investigation into violations on the day of the early parliamentary elections on October 2 in the Pleven village of Bukovlak. A witness says:
„He said: „Here in Bukovlak, different rules apply.“ I answered him, „Well, the rules are the same everywhere. And he got angry and told me he was going to break my teeth. It happened in front of the machine, inside the sectional election commission.“
„I was attacked by the chairman of the quota section of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, part of the advocates, part of the candidates of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms for the 15th multi-mandate electoral district – Pleven, the eighteenth on the list, Metodi Petkov,“ he also claimed.
The Anticorruption Fund is spreading two stories about shocking excesses on election day in election sections 205 and 206 in the village of Bukovlak. Citizens share about direct threats to members of the sectional election commission, open campaigning by candidates in front of the polling stations themselves, instructing and voting instead of voters.
