„Is it true or false that Bulgarian weapons have reached Ukraine?“ Is it true or false that through an American company Bulgarian weapons arrived in Ukraine, as the New York Times wrote? Is the statement of his Minister of Economy that Bulgarian weapons do not reach Ukraine true or false? Is it true or false that the head of Ninova’s cabinet is part of the interdepartmental commission that authorizes and controls exports?

This is what leader of “Stand Up.BG! We are coming!” Maya Manolova asked. According to her, the arrival of Bulgarian weapons to Ukraine is currently happening behind the back of the Bulgarian parliament and behind the backs of the Bulgarian people.

Ms. Manolova called on the Bulgarian MPs to end their vacation and to clarify the truth from the rostrum of Parliament – are Bulgarian weapons reaching Ukraine? Because, according to her, the answer is clear – every fourth cartridge in Ukraine is Bulgarian, despite Ninova’s position that she will not sign and one cartridge will be sent to Ukraine.

If Ninova does not know this, she mustn’t be in the Ministry of Economy. As for Kiril Petkov, if he doesn’t know, what are they governing?”, the leader of “Stand Up.BG! We are coming!” asked rhetorically. She stressed that the position of the civic platform she represents is clear – against arms exports.

Maya Manolova was adamant that the government is afraid to say that we are exporting weapons. The opposition is afraid to ask and demand resignations – that is why the hot potato is currently being thrown to the Bulgarian citizens.

The call of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov for people to donate weapons to Ukraine, Manolova commented that with one Prime Minister’s salary just over BGN 8,000, 9 shells can be bought, and even the bank account on the Prime Minister’s Facebook profile was fake.

I expect him to call us soon to collect caps in exchange for weapons or to send messages texting “DMS Rocket”. This is a frivolous attitude and unwillingness of the Prime Minister and the government to take responsibility by transferring the decision to the Bulgarian citizens.„, the leader of “Stand Up.BG! We are coming!” was adamant in her assessment. Then she described the position of the Prime Minister as fear of taking responsibility by forcing citizens to donate their salaries.

Who should donate their salaries? The workers who have not been paid since last year? Or those worth BGN 710? „, the leader of “Stand Up.BG! We are coming!” asked.

Maya Manolova commented that there is no social party in Bulgaria to fight against inequality and poverty. A party to defend the interests of those not represented in Parliament. She was adamant that working people do not have a lawyer in Parliament.

As the three main priorities of  „Stand Up.BG! We are coming!” Manolova pointed out the interests of the vulnerableworking people and retirees with increasing incomes; fair taxation without a non-taxable minimum; and a state that works for the citizens, not for the party elites.

As Ninova strives for all other red lines, if she really thought about pensioners, she would fight for recalculation of pensions.„, Ms. Manolova said, pointing out that Bulgaria is the only EU country that has not supported its citizens. She added that bread should have a frozen price and without VAT in order to be within the reach of Bulgarian citizens.
