Will „Vazrazhdane“ political party be removed from the Registrythe first hearing on the case will be held today in the Sofia City Court. The case comes after the prosecutor’s office filed a petition in August to remove the non-parliamentary party, led by Kostadin Kostadinov.

The State Prosecution wants the formation to be disbanded after an inspection on a signal for violations in its activities, which was submitted in June this year.

According to the inspection, false information was declared about the presence of at least 500 citizens with voting rights at the party’s board. As of the date of the meeting, 86 people who were registered as founders were out of the country.

Out of a total of 580 founders, 108 indicated that the signatures on the lists were not theirs, and 87 commented that they had not signed a Declaration of Individual Membership under the Political Parties Act. Another 120 people stated that they did not attend the board of the „Vazrazhdane“ political party at all.

The Prosecution also found that two of the party’s founders had died months before the meeting.

In March, leader Kostadin Kostadinov was charged with disseminating false information that could cause panic. He then said that the measures introduced to combat COVID-19 were „distraction propaganda and not in the interest of citizens„.

We remind you that “Vazrazhdane” was founded 5 years ago by Kostadinov and expresses critical positions towards NATO and defines the European Union as a „prison„.

Kostadin Kostadinov is a municipal councilor in Varna. He is a former member of the NFSB and IMRO. In 2011, the latter nominated him as a candidate for mayor of Varna. In the 2017 parliamentary elections, Vazrazhdane received more than 1% of the actual votes.

On October 24, “Vazrazhdane” announced that the party had not been legally notified of the progress of the case. The formation sent a position to the media, in which they presented facts about the case against her. It turns out that Vazrazhdane found out about the date of the case from an article published on a news site. In addition, the party learned other important details about the progress of the case from the media in question. They also commented:

  • The court allowed only 6 witnesses of „Vazrazhdane“ out of the requested to be admitted 54;
  • Naturally, this number of witnesses is significantly smaller than the 120 invalid signatures indicated by the Prosecution as plaintiff;
  • For math experts, it is clear exactly how insignificant a 120: 6 ratio can be;
  • For experts familiar with the judiciary, this means one thing: „Vazrazhdane“ is doomed because the number of witnesses allowed by the court is not enough to prove the falsity of the Prosecution’s allegations.

The right to vote of the remaining 48 witnesses, who were not allowed by the court to tell how they were pressured, threatened and manipulated by SANS, was restricted. The goal of the state security agents was one: to force the founders of Vazrazhdane to „forget“ that they had attended a constituent assembly.

On November 30, Themis chooses to have her ears sealed. The court refuses to hear these 54 true stories of Bulgarians whose grandfathers shed their blood for Bulgaria in order to pass it on to their children, and they to their children. Bulgarian citizens who pay their taxes so that the mafia that has seized Bulgaria can pay people to oppress and harass them.

Another absolute precedent in the work of the Sofia City Court is the speed with which it sets a date for the case for the deletion of the political party. Vazrazhdane submitted its written defense on October 15, 2020. Only a few days later the court set a date for the case – November 30, 2020. Every Sofia lawyer knows that hearings in the Sofia City Court are scheduled at least a few months after the opinion is submitted.

Kostadin Kostadinov commented on the social network that today, exactly on the feast of St. Apostle AndrewSt. Andrew’s Day, „Vazrazhdane“ has a battle with the mafia in Bulgaria.

„Our people also call it Saint Andrew’s Day(Andermas), because according to the belief, the saint defeated a bear that ate his ox and harnessed it to plow his fields. I hadn’t thought until now what day our work would be, but nothing in our lives happens by accident. Today, “Vazrazhdane” will fight not with a bear, but with a mafia dressed in power. So, as my father says when he goes on a long journey, God is before us and we are after him! It is time for Revival! Long live Bulgaria!“

Party supporters are expected to protest in support.
