The Czech Prosecutor’s office has acted on the issue of selling “Varna” TPP to Ahmed Dogan, and on this occasion Democratic Bulgaria will provide it with all the materials at its disposal in the case. This was announced by the co-chairman of the union Hristo Ivanov in a video broadcast live on Facebook by the “Varna” headquarters.

When the Geshev cap is made of, as he said in that recording – an idiot, we will rely on the Czech Prosecutor’s office, we will look for an opportunity with the Czech politicians, who made fuss about the case, to act together before the European Commission. We will not refuse to make noise on this topic.“, Ivanov said.

Ivanov recalled the story of the sale of “Varna” TPP and the receipt of the cold reserve after the surprise refusal of the state-owned „Maritza East 2“ TPP. He also reminded of the signals he submitted to the prosecutor’s office in July and August to institutions such as the Ministry of Energy, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, as well as the questions to “Maritza East 2” TPP.

When we started making noise, they froze the cold reserve, abolished this scheme, but all the regulatory institutions we signaled did nothing. (…) Complete silence. The institutions in Bulgaria – the regulators, the prosecutor’s office, the executive – are just service personnel for corruption scams.“, Ivanov said, adding that amid protests in the summer, the term of office of Vladko Vladimirovski as a member of the State Agency of Energy Regulation, who is close to Kovachki and MRF, was quietly extended. Thus, it became possible for the MRF and Dogan’s associates to now have a blocking quota in the energy regulator.

In Parliament, we will begin a gradual conquest of all regulators. Because without doing this work, we will never be able to deprive this whole corrupt class of the opportunity to suffocate our country, to steal our own future.“, said the Co-Chairman of Democratic Bulgaria.
