The southern Black Sea coast is free of COVID-19. This is shown by the results of a large-scale study completed today. It covered besides Burgas and Nesebar, Sozopol, Primorsko and Tsarevo. It was carried out within 20 days, and 2,300 people were examined voluntarily. Less than 1 percent of people have had the coronavirus. The exact figure is 0.95%. This was announced at a briefing in Burgas by the Chief State Health Inspector Dr. Angel Kunchev, a reporter told Iskra.bg, who is at the scene.
The same position was expressed by the Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova, who also participated in the press conference.
Dr. Kunchev also commented on the resigned media at the hospital in Velingrad, saying that this is one of the negative examples of medical institutions in the country.
