COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 8 new cases, 51 recovered patients and 2 deaths over past 24 hours

There are 8 new confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria, announced the Chief State Health Inspector – Assoc. Prof. Dr., MD. Angel Kunchev during the regular morning briefing of the National Operational Headquarters. According to his information, a total of 1725 people have been tested over the last day.

The number of confirmed COVID cases in Bulgaria reached 2,475 across 3 active regions. In the capital city of Sofia, there are 5 new cases, in Pazardzhik – 2 and Vidin – 1.

51 COVID patients have been discharged from hospitals bringing the total number of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic to 1015 people.

Two people lost the battle against COVID – a 91-year-old woman and a man.
