COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 19 new cases, 32 recovered patients and 4 deaths over past 24 hours

Prof. Todor Katardzhiev announced during the regular virus briefing of the Bulgarian coronavirus task force that 19 out of 886 COVID-19 tests from the past 24 hours came out positive. He added that for the period 11 patients have been admitted for intensive hospital treatment. 

With the latest cases included, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country reached 2,427 across 6 active regions. Three new cases have been established in Blagoevgrad, 1 in Veliko Tarnovo, 5 in Pazardzhik, 2 in Sliven, and a total of 4 in the regions of Sofia and Yambol

The number of recovered COVID patients in Bulgaria reached 840 with 14 of them being from Sofia, 4 from Vidin, 3 from Sliven, 2 from Plovdiv, and 2 Burgas and Pazardzhik.

Four people lost the battle against COVID. Two septuagenarians at the age of 73 and 76 years from Sofia, a 31-year-old man from Yambol and a 76-year old woman with heart failure from Yambol as well.
