GERB remains a toxic party of the status quo and negotiations with it for partnership cannot be conducted, the MP from „Democratic Bulgaria“ /DB/ Antoaneta Tsoneva told „NOVA“.

According to her, the leaked photos from the meeting of the legal committee in the National Assembly of chats between Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and Boyko Borissov’s PR show the dependencies of the status quo in the judiciary.

GERB proved once again in this Parliament that they are a party that supports the status quo. These chats are just an image of their dependence on the Attorney General. GERB voted against all our bills related to judicial reform. They act as Geshev’s main defenders and lawyers. We can’t think of any partnership.„, Tsoneva said.

GERB remains toxic. They hold the basic tools by which the bats of the status quo control. So there is no way we can partner with them.„, she added.

According to her, a campaign is forthcoming, which should very clearly explain to the people how the country will be governed, with what agenda, with what management priorities, who the people and the teams that will take responsibility for this governance will be.

We need to discuss a majority of the change, not a majority of the status quo. A campaign is forthcoming, which should contact the voters and say very clearly how the country will be governed. This is the responsible position.“, added Tsoneva.

The MP believes that the next elections will confirm the expectations for the need for dialogue and coalition formation.

We came here because of the lack of dialogue. It should be clear that there will no longer be a big one in Bulgaria and the parties will have to talk to each other and form coalitions. I say this word quite calmly. „There will be dialogue and talks, as long as necessary, as clear and transparent as necessary in order to achieve governance.“, she said.
