5 new cases of infected patients with COVID-19 in Bulgaria

According to the information of the National Operational Headquarters the new COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria are 5 in total. Thus, the confirmed cases of infected people with the virus become 359.

The new cases are – 2 patients in Sofia and 1each in Pleven, Montana and Blagoevgrad.

113 patients were admitted to hospital, with 13 of them being intubated. So far, 17 people have been successfully recovered.

56% of the reported cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria are in men, and the remaining 44% in women. The average age of the positive patients was 45 years.

The registered cases by administrative districts are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 11; Burgas – 14; Varna – 17; Veliko Tarnovo – 2; Gabrovo – 2; Dobrich – 6; Kardzhali – 5; Kyustendil – 2; Lovech – 1; Montana – 17; Pazardzhik – 7; Pernik – 5; Pleven – 9; Plovdiv – 21; Sliven – 4; Smolyan – 7; Sofia – 223; Stara Zagora – 2; Haskovo – 1; Shumen – 3.
