3/4 of the employees in the country leave their jobs due to the low salary, according to a study of the labor market, conducted by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The analysis of the data is to be presented today.

The highest labor turnover is in low-skilled labor in certain sectors. The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov clarified that such turnover is observed in the manufacturing industry, construction, hotels, restaurants, transport and trade. According to him, the trend is difficult to reverse.

In 73 percent of the cases the reason for leaving is the low salary. Kamelia Petkova from BAS noted that the other reasons are not to be underestimated, as among them are the stress at work, the authoritarian leadership, the unfair recognition of the contribution of the employee and the bad attitude of the manager.

The survey involved 2,460 working Bulgarians, 750 employers, business organizations and 250 labor offices.
